SKYSAW SIGNS TO DANGERBIRD RECORDS FOR DEBUT LP / GREAT CIVILIZATIONS
ALBUM SLATED FOR MAY RELEASE
Chicago, IL (March 2, 2011) — SKYSAW, featuring acclaimed drummer
Jimmy Chamberlin, DC-based singer Mike Reina and guitarist Anthony
Pirog, has announced the forthcoming release of their debut album,
Great Civilizations/, in May 2011 on Dangerbird Record. The Los
Angeles-based indie label most recently released new records from Fitz
and the Tantrums, The Dears, Silversun Pickups and Maritime, among others.

SKYSAW is the new project helmed by Jimmy Chamberlin, who wants to make one thing clear at the outset: “This project is not the vision of one person. It’s a band, a total collaboration. After being in the biz for 25 years, I know unity holds the power and gets the job done.”
