BRITTANY SHANE HITS THE ROAD TOUR KICKS OFF NOVEMBER 28TH IN SUPPORT OF ALBUM HAVE HEART, LIVE YOUNG

San Francisco, CA – November 6, 2009 – Bay Area-based songwriter Brittany Shane who released her sophomore effort, Have Heart Live Young on September 8, will now hit the road its support. The first leg of Shane’s tour will commence on November 28th in Eugene, OR for a show at Diablo’s and will wrap up in her hometown for a 2-set evening at Mojito’s on December 20th. Confirmed dates are below and are subject to change.

Have Heart, Live Young which boasts a laundry list of top-notch music makers, including Grammy-nominated mix engineer, Joe Chiccarelli, producer Zack Smith (founding member of the ‘80s group Scandal), offers the sort of timeless songwriting on par with Brit cult group the Sundays, the Bangles, Beth Orton and Mazzy Star, to name a few.

Shane has shared stages over the years with a varied array of artists (the Breeders, Indigo Girls, Stevie Nicks, Aimee Mann, Heart, to name a few). She is credited with six of her previously recorded songs, including one from Have Heart, providing much of the score to the multi-award winning indie film, The Village Barbershop, released on DVD through Monterey Media in March 2009 and starring John Ratzenberger and Shelly Cole.
